Our Florida trip was a huge success! Not having to cook was a nice added bonus for me! We came home with lots of great memories but we feel as if the most memorable is our sunset sail with Capt. Ron, no not Kurt Russell, off the coast of Key West. Yes we paid too much for this cheesy picture but pictures of us together are hard to come by and when they are halfway decent I gotta go with it!
Steve and I both know that our BIG adventure is going to include some tourist traps that we would normally drive right on by. But since we are all about goofing off who cares. Well, it seems as if we have all ready fallen prey: Everglades Holiday Park, Ft. Lauderdale Florida. Wouldn't you think that if you are working at a place like this you would be somewhat of a people person? NOT!! Nevertheless it was an interesting airboat ride with a driver who supposedly grew up in the everglades with his grampa who taught him how to catch alligators with his bare hands!! We did get to see a few alligators, proof provided above, but we joked about how they were probably tied to a tree just for the tourists!!
